Zeno Appoints Kevin Lawlor as Head of Public Affairs, U.S.

Zeno Group announced the appointment of Kevin Lawlor as Head of Public Affairs, U.S., deepening the agency’s policy communications and advocacy work. Lawlor will be based in Washington, D.C., and report to Zeno Global Managing Director of Corporate Affairs Mark Shadle.  

Prior to joining Zeno, Lawlor served as Chief Political Officer and Executive Vice President at DDC Public Affairs, specializing in grassroots outreach, coalition building, earned and paid media. A seasoned public affairs and political operations strategist, Lawlor has advised corporations, trade associations, nonprofits, and government clients on high-stakes policy issues. He has also served in a Chief Communications Advisor role to four members of Congress. 

Amid growing volatility, complexity and polarization, Lawlor’s appointment reflects Zeno’s increased focus on managing reputational risk, countering misinformation and navigating regulatory uncertainty. Lawlor will lead a team of public affairs professionals to advise clients on a range of issues including public policy, government relations and regulatory affairs. The appointment deepens Zeno’s strength at the intersection of corporate affairs and brand reputation, continuing the momentum of supporting clients through complex issues with real-time, business-driving solutions.
