Zeno Group Accelerates Its Next Chapter of Growth with New Leadership Talent

July 2026 Leadership Announcement

Zeno has announced the appointments of Matt Lackie, Lisa Sullivan and Jake Green as the agency continues to invest in its next chapter of growth. All three join from Axicom, bringing complementary leadership experience across technology, strategy, and business growth at a time when organizations are navigating an increasingly complex landscape shaped by AI, geopolitical change, economic uncertainty and accelerating technological advancement.

These appointments build on Zeno's continued investment in talent and capabilities that bring clients deeper expertise, broader perspectives and more integrated counsel as communications and reputation become increasingly central to business success.

Matt Lackie joins Zeno as President, International Strategy + Global Technology. Formerly Global CEO of Axicom and Chair of Burson's Global Technology Practice, Lackie will help shape and advance the agency's international strategy while leading the continued evolution of Zeno's global technology business.

In this newly created role, Lackie will strengthen Zeno's ability to partner with companies and clients across every sector especially as technology has become a defining driver of growth and competitive advantage. Reporting to Global CEO Barby K. Siegel, Lackie will partner with leaders across North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific to accelerate cross-border growth, deepen collaboration and unlock new opportunities across Zeno's global network.

Widely recognized as one of the communications industry's leading innovators and strategists, Lackie has spent more than two decades helping many of the world's most influential organizations manage through transformation, build reputation, and fuel growth at the intersection of technology, business, and culture.

Lackie will partner with Karyn Barr, who joined in October as Head of Technology Communications for Zeno US, in addition to other technology leaders to strengthen and connect the agency's capabilities across AI, enterprise and consumer technology, and other rapidly evolving areas of client demand.

Lisa Sullivan joins as Managing Director, Zeno West, where she will lead the continued evolution of Zeno's West Coast business, partnering with clients across communications, marketing, and innovation. An accomplished business leader with deep experience helping global brands navigate change, Sullivan has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams, cultivating enduring client partnerships, and delivering measurable business impact. Based in San Francisco, Sullivan will report to Grant Deady, President, Zeno US, and partner closely with Angela Alvarez, who is Head of Zeno Los Angeles.

Jake Green joins as Executive Vice President, Strategy, further expanding Zeno's ability to connect strategy, reputation, audience intelligence, and business growth for clients faced with increasingly complex market dynamics and stakeholder expectations. Green brings deep experience helping B2B and technology companies identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and relevance through strategy, brand positioning, channel planning, and innovation storytelling. He will report to Theresa Bertrand, Head of Strategy, Zeno US.

Having successfully worked together for years, Matt, Lisa and Jake bring complementary strengths across global leadership, client strategy, business development, and operations. Their shared experience will enable them to create value quickly while building on the strong momentum already underway at Zeno.

“AI, technology and business transformation are reshaping every organization, regardless of industry," said Barby K. Siegel, Global CEO of Zeno Group. "These appointments reflect our commitment to continually evolve, not by changing who we are, but by strengthening how we help clients succeed. Communications and reputation are business imperatives that shape growth and competitive advantage. Our clients need counsel that connects business strategy, marketing and communications in ways that create measurable value.

"Matt, Lisa and Jake bring a strong track record of helping organizations turn communications and reputation into drivers of business success, which aligns well with Zeno's focus on helping clients navigate both what's now and what's next. Above all, they embody what has always made Zeno, Zeno: ambition, curiosity, kindness, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to creating meaningful client impact."

Matt, Lisa and Jake will join Zeno later this summer.

Notably, these appointments build on Zeno's broader investment in leadership across the agency, including Dana Gandsman, who joined as Head of Global Health & Wellness following a distinguished career at Pfizer; Kevin Lawlor, who joined to lead Public Affairs from Washington, D.C.; Justin D'Onofrio, who leads AI & Innovation and Khushil Vaswani, MD, Zeno Singapore.

"I've admired Zeno for years, not just for the quality of its work, but for its culture and the way it approaches the business," said Lackie. "There is a confidence, creativity and entrepreneurial energy that encourages people to think differently, push boundaries and continually reimagine how we create value for clients. Zeno's independence, leadership model and culture give it the freedom to move with speed, invest in innovation, and structure the work to create the greatest value for clients. Lisa, Jake and I are excited to join colleagues around the world who share our passion for bold thinking and meaningful collaboration."
