Zeno’s Inaugural ESG Report: “Toward Something Better”

Over a year ago, Zeno came together to articulate more deeply who we are, why we exist and our desired impact as we aligned on our company purpose – champion the courageous to achieve something better for humankind. We have since been guided by this purpose in all that we do every day.
We recognize the importance of holding ourselves accountable in advancing progress across our global offices with a series of specific actions. We are proud to share our inaugural environmental, social and governance (ESG) report – “Toward Something Better”.
Within the report, we share our commitments, actions and impact, including our global pro bono partnerships, advances we have made around DE&I, initiatives to ensure the development and well-being of employees and steps we have taken to improve our environmental impact.
Below are a few key highlights from the past fiscal year:
Conducted an in-depth environmental audit to measure our global footprint across carbon emissions, energy use, waste and water
Created an initial global environmental strategy and time-bound goals, including a commitment to explore setting a science-based emissions reduction target, eliminate the use of single-use plastics and source 100% renewable electricity, through usage of quality RECs as needed
Rolled out Eco Crews, led by Zeno employees across 14 global offices, to help advance Zeno’s sustainability efforts at the local level
Pioneered the concept of Agency Allyship through our partnership with EGAMI Group
Dedicated the equivalent of $1.7M in agency professional time for pro bono counsel to organizations including the Auschwitz Pledge Foundation, The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center and Year Up
Introduced new opportunities for professional development, including a Global Analytics Certification and our Crossover Program to ensure Zenoids stay updated on relevant skills in our fast-evolving industry
This is our first report, and we know it is just the beginning of what we can, and will, accomplish using our business as a force for good. We remain steadfast in our commitment to ‘achieve something better’ and transparently share our work and progress along the way.
