Zeno Gives Back!
Zeno Group is proud to serve as a pro bono partner to KaBOOM!, the national non-profit organization that is bringing play back into the lives of children. We support the KaBOOM! mission, to have great places for children to play within walking distance of every child in America. Since 1995, KaBOOM! has used its innovative community-build model to bring together business and community interests to construct more than 1,600 new playgrounds, skate parks, sports fields and ice rinks across North America. Recently, First Lady Michelle Obama and First Lady of California Maria Shriver joined KaBOOM! to build a playground in San Francisco, encouraging all Americans to engage in public service.
In support of KaBOOM! Play Days, Zeno Group is lending a hand to spread the word, encouraging local communities to host more than 1,000 free, fun-for-the-whole-family Play Days across the country during the week of September 19–27, 2009. KaBOOM! Play Days are outdoor events that celebrate play with games and activities to promote a healthy lifestyle. Further, Play Days are opportunities for communities to come together and improve their local parks and playspaces with clean-ups, simple enhancement and construction projects.
At Zeno Group, we work hard and play hard. Play brings out the best in children, and all of us, making people happier, fitter, smarter, more socially adept and creative. We encourage you to join Zeno Group in support of KaBOOM! -- and get out and play!
