Zeno used the media and social marketing to get the company's side of the story out to all its core audiences – including consumers, retail partners and child safety advocates–ensuring balanced coverage and staying off negative response. When Consumer Reports ultimately had to retract its story due to problems with its testing, the company was vindicated and its reputation was preserved.
