The Cannes Lions as been called ‘the Oscars of the marketing and communication industry.’ Around 11,000 registered delegates from 90 countries visit the Festival, to celebrate the best of creativity in brand communication, discuss industry issues and network with one another. For the first time, Zeno will be represented by three Fearless Lions: Barby Siegel, Grant Deady and John Kerr. And what an entrance, with our Jockey MadBum campaign being shortlisted for a PR Lion (more on that in a future Zeno blog post) – an amazing start given that there are over 40,000 entries for this year’s festival – a record!
Adtech is everywhere, especially on the many of the sponsored super-yachts parked in the marina, as are many ‘traditional’ (if such a thing exists today) media companies who are exhibiting, including the BBC, CNN and Guardian – who are showcasing their value and relevance in today’s digital content and advertising world.
The team on the ground is committed to sharing as much of the experience with you as possible – profiling the incredible work, the best of the presentations (including luminaries such as Al Gore, Kim Kardashian and a plethora of global CMOs) and some interesting/niche experiences.
