Cheryl Pellegrino has nearly 20 years of public relations experience‚ representing clients in the areas of marketing communications‚ corporate reputation and issues management. During her career she has worked on a variety of brands in multiple categories‚ including consumer and animal health products‚ pharmaceuticals‚ medical devises‚ packaged goods‚ retail‚ fashion/beauty‚ financial services and spirits.
Cheryl’s expertise includes directing special events and promotions‚ launching new products‚ and developing and executing national marketing campaigns. She also has client situations involving product recalls‚ international trade disputes‚ product labeling challenges and corporate protests.
Cheryl managed an integrated marketing communications account for Novartis Animal Health‚ which included consumer and veterinary industry communications as well as thought leadership programs for their CEO on issues involving the safety and efficacy of pet medicines.
She also has led corporate and consumer programs for Cablevision‚ TD Ameritrade‚ Pfizer‚ Twinlab vitamins‚ Niagara Spray Starch‚ Unilever laundry products‚ Party City‚ and Beck’s Beer. Cheryl previously was served as Senior vice president at Euro RSCG Magnet in New York and was a vice president at Earle Palmer Brown‚ a national advertising and public relations agency. Prior to that‚ Cheryl was a senior partner at J. Walter Thompson‚ where she managed the consumer‚ trade and corporate PR programs of the Diamond Information Center and DeBeers for more than 6 years.
Cheryl has also been a Vice President with N.W. Ayer Public Relations‚ supervising accounts that included Kitchen Aid‚ Hush Puppies footwear‚ Bonne Bell Cosmetics‚ and the Greenhouse Spa. She previously handled special events and promotions at Seventeen Magazine and began her career as a reporter at the Stamford (CT) Advocate Newspaper. Cheryl holds a degree in journalism from Southern Methodist University.
